One of my favorite quotes (or actually lyrics) that I have always used as a personal motto is “People say believe half of what you see Son and none of what you hear” — Marvin Gaye, cause all too often (I learned many years ago through experience, and was a hard lesson learned since I always tended to be so gullible, and believed the best in everyone), people can have a motive/ agenda, be mistaken/ misunderstood, or get it simply repeating erroneous info. And my eyes can be deceived.
Stacy and Stacey are generally considered to be short forms of Anastasia (Greek) “resurrection”

Pluto is the planet of transformation and regeneration, and also the ruler of this zodiac sign. Scorpios are known by their calm and cool behavior, and by their mysterious appearance. People often say that Scorpio-born are fierce, probably because they understand very well the rules of the universe. Some Scorpio-born can look older than they actually are. They are excellent leaders because they are very dedicated to what they do. Scorpios hate dishonesty and they can be very jealous and suspicious, so they need to learn how to adapt more easily to different human behaviors. Scorpios are brave and therefore they have a lot of friends.
Honesty and fairness are the two qualities that make Scorpio a great friend. People born under the Scorpio sign are very dedicated and loyal, when it comes to working. They are quick-witted and intelligent, so they would feel better to be in the company of witty and fun loving people. They are full of surprises and will give you everything you need, but if you let them down once – there’s no return. Scorpios are very emotional, when they are in pain, it is simply impossible to make them feel better. They are very dedicated and they take good care of their family.
Scorpios are fantastic in management, solving and creating. When a Scorpio sets a goal, there is no giving up. Scorpios are great in solving tasks that require a scientific and thorough approach. Their ability to focus with determination makes them very capable managers. They never mix business with friendship.
Jobs such as a scientist, physician, researcher, sailor, detective, cop, business manager and psychologist are appropriate for this powerful zodiac sign. Scorpio respects other people, so expects to be respected in return.
Scorpios are disciplined enough to stick to the budget, but they are also not afraid of hard work to bring themselves in a better financial position. However, they are not inclined to spend much. Money means security and a sense of control for them, which means that they are good at saving money and make decisions carefully before investing in something.

The Firstborn
Stereotype: Natural leader, ambitious, responsible.
Why it’s true: The eldest, for a while, has no competition for time (or books or baby banter) with Mom and Dad. “There’s a benefit to all of that undiluted attention. A 2007 study in Norway showed that firstborns had two to three more IQ points than the next child,” says Frank J. Sulloway, Ph.D., the author of Born to Rebel. Firstborns tend to be surrogate parents when other siblings arrive, hence their protective and responsible nature.
When it’s not: Parents can set high expectations for a first (or only) child. “When he feels like he has disappointed his parents or can’t measure up, he may veer off in another direction,” says Kevin Leman, Ph.D., a psychologist and the author of The Birth Order Book.
Mediator! A Good role. 🙂

Thanks James! Though sometimes not an easy one, when both parties that you are between want their way– they both end up being mad at the mediator for not siding completely with either. : /

That’s totally against the point of mediation. But I understand why. Ugh! Sorry. Never easy.

It sure is. It can be difficult, especially when both sides, like your parents, or close friends, want to feel justified in the way they feel, and make the other person feel as if they are outnumbered. And you try to be fair, and can see both sides of the argument, but they don’t realize what it does to you– being in that tug- of -war, because (for me anyway), until there is a resolution, even when I am away from the situation, the tug-of-war continues in the mind– you want to make everyone happy and at peace and everything return to normal. Often though, that is not possible, so you must distance yourself from the people for your own sanity, peace, and harmony. It is never easy. I think for those reasons, it is easy for mediators to develop introvert traits, to avoid people. Just come out of the shell, like a turtle, periodically, but retreat quickly to avoid getting drawn into any conflicts. LOL
